LECTURE & WORKSHOP
Accessories as identity marks. A lecture and workshop that focus on how we shape our identity, throughout history until today, by means of incorporating materials, colors and other expressive elements. Affixed looks into the significance accessories have when shaping human identities as individuals and as groups. Other aspects shaping identity such as gender are also explored through the lens of current fashion cultures. The participants try out different expressions on themselves and each other, as well as through making photo montages, collages, and own accessories. Mainly recycled materias are used during the workshop.
